Very early blooming perennial. Sometimes with flowers in February. Foliage is semi-evergreen. Flower colors can vary from white to red.
Seed strain of coneflower with pink, red, orange and yellow flowers. Excellent for planting multiples in the garden and letting them cross pollinate.
Includes a variety of purple, blue, mauve, pink, lilac, and cream colored flowers. Some have contrasting central bees and others are solid in color. All share a bushy, well-branched habit and strong flower stems.

This is a valuable selection because of its uniform growth habit, free-flowering tendancy. Has an extended blooming time up to 12 weeks, which is much longer than the older varieties. They bloom late spring.
